This unusual attachment to the Temple that the Jews felt was also the reason for the next two wars against the Romans. The Jews wanted to reconquer Jerusalem and rebuild the Temple, but they failed miserably.

Today, the Jewish ambition to rebuild the Temple is clearly evident. But this will never happen because God does not change His word, and God has set a trap to ensure that this attempt will be the downfall of Israel. This trap is the Dome of the Rock, one of the holiest sites in Islam, located precisely on the site of the Temple. If the Jews make this grave mistake and destroy the Dome of the Rock, then they can be certain that the prophecy made by the Islamic prophet Muhammad about the eschatological final solution will come true.
