Ehh, this seems highly unlikely. What would they get out of it? Russia already has all the natural resources and Europe has none. On the other hand, Europe has a lot of reasons to want a war with Russia, such as the aforementioned resources or as a great big distraction from their own failing economies.

Usually a government's last resort is to start a war in order to stop internal uprising. The problem with this is Europe has imported millions of foreigners who won't fight in their armies. Europe is in a desperate situation: on the brink of economic collapse, an angry native population, and a mass of foreigners ready to loot whatever is left of value when the chaos starts. Europe is lost already - it destroyed itself. At this point Europeans might welcome the Russians if it meant they keep their pensions.
