In ancient times, certain Babylonians worshipped the leader of an underwater group of creatures called “The deep ones”. The name of the leader was Dagon. Dag means fish in Hebrew.
The deep ones are like grotesque looking creatures who have a whole society underwater and long ago they offered the local Babylonians plentiful fish and other resources in exchange for worship and for human bodies which were later turned into hybrids. Modern day Deep Ones are mostly hybrids.
