TL;DR: These things do not exist, even to the extent of a real photo of a fake mock-up. We’ll explore and figure out what’s really happening.

Being mildly interested in militaria, I was mildly curious as to exactly which missiles were being sold. Maybe offloading some old junkers? Nope, these are brand-new weapons known as Extended Range Attack Munitions (ERAM). They are so new, in fact, that they have not been built. Somehow, 3350 of them are supposed to be delivered to Ukraine by the end of 2025.

I would link you to the Wikipedia page for them but that doesn’t exist yet either. I would only note that they are not to be confused with either (1) the RIM-174 Standard ERAM (ERAM), which is an anti-(anti-ship missile) missile that costs $5m a pop so you better have a damn expensive boat, or the Extended Range Guided Munition (ERGM), which was a fancy-shmancy artillery shell of unknown cost a pop because it failed after $600m and 12 years.

Let’s start with the fact just mentioned, that even though artillery has been around for centuries, it took them all that money and all that time to figure out their latest twist wouldn’t work. With that in mind, consider this article:

Mini Anti-Ship Cruise Missile That Fits Inside An F-35 Is On The Navy’s Wish List (The War Zone 2/7/2024)

This was at the “wish” stage a year-and-a-half ago. It was for the trillion dollar fighter that cannot stop suffering peacetime losses. By July, though, one of the psychotic warmongering fantasists apparently got the bright idea this could “turn the tide” for the “defenders of freedom”:

Air Force’s Cheap And Fast To Produce Long-Range Missile Is Being Built For Ukraine (The War Zone 7/11/2024)

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s (AFLCMC) Armament Directorate at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida quietly issued a request for proposals (RFP) regarding ERAM yesterday, which Aviation Week was among the first to spot. The RFP is a part of a larger rapid development contracting vehicle called the AFLCMC Armament Directorate Rapid Response (ADRR) Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO).

That was only a year ago. Did you see how long those names are and all those acronyms? How long do you think it takes that crew to go from RFP to kaboom? Thus, it seems it was just one more of the insane and ruinous initiatives of the “Biden” Administration. I also need to add the adjective “fantastical” because I want you to spot the trick here:

ERAM, which could have a range of up to 250 miles, would give the Ukrainian Air Force new capacity to strike targets beyond the reach of many of the weapons currently in its arsenal, including Western-supplied precision-guided bombs.

The ERAM magically changed from an anti-ship cruise missile to an air-to-ground strike missile. You see, in the world of fantasy, you can just change your mind like that and it is so. What this indicates, of course, is that the ERAM—as dumb an idea as could be—was at least legit in the normal legal and procedural sense. The bloodthirsty war pigs hijacked the program and said, “Now we gonna use this to kill all the Russkies! Slava Ukraini!” And either blood or money will flow soon:

Ukraine Will Receive First Of Thousands Of New U.S. Made Standoff Missiles In The Coming Weeks (The War Zone 8/25/2025)

The weapons, which have a range between 150-280 miles and are stated to be air-launched, at least initially, should start to arrive in around six weeks.

I’m still waiting for some cocktail onions I ordered off Amazon three weeks ago. Should have ordered the cocktail missiles instead. I thought this nugget was also darkly and unintentionally humorous:

Another key aspect of the original RFI was the requirement that 1,000 examples of the new missile could be built within two years, for an average production output of around 42 per month.

That should do it. You know, maybe. Turns out the Russians have already been using a more primitive analog to the ERAM called the “FAB”, which comes in several sizes up to ginormous. They took some of the countless old bombs from the Soviet arsenals and added a cheap set of wings and a nav package. If you aren’t familiar with these weapons, you should be:

Blood and dust: The rise of Russia’s glide bombs (European Security & Defence 7/15/2025)

By March 2024, Russia had deployed 3,500 glide bombs against Ukrainian positions, reaching a peak of 250 in two days against Avdiivka, and an average of 100 per day through September.

Drongo was driving an armoured vehicle down a makeshift road when a guided bomb landed nearby in 2024…. “You can feel your organs shaking around inside you…I started bleeding from my ears and nose. Vomiting. I was really struggling to speak for two days from the concussion,”….

Glide bombs weighing 500 kg or 1,500 kg are used most often, and carry enough explosive material to make a crater 15 m across. Some larger bombs weigh 3,000 kg with at least 1,000 kg of high explosives, and can level a building with a single strike.

Okay then, what’s really going on? First, I have no doubt Trump clearly knows everything I have just written and much more. It would appear then, he is only trying to lift nearly a billion bucks off the EU warmongers for 3,350 things that do not and will not exist for a long, long time as in never.

This fits right in to the overall strategy, as I see it, aimed not just at bringing the SMO to a close but at bringing the relentless hostility of the Eurocrat warmongers to an end, and hopefully getting them all thrown into the dustbin of history.

The idea is to make all this warmongering so costly—primarily financially—that they will give it up voluntarily, or their people will force them to, or those countries will become so weak economically that they no longer pose a meaningful threat. Significant progress is being made with the last two.

The key to success is that all of it is in the guise of warmongering itself, this ERAM boondoggle being a perfect example. Thus, it becomes difficult for these scumbags to object to it. “Hey, you bitch-ass Eurotrash! You’re gonna buy these missiles, okay? Or do you maybe like seeing these poor Ukies getting smoked, you assholes?”

PS: Okay, I get that the MSM and all their experts are too dumb and ignorant to get all of this, but what about the sources I linked? They know a hell of a lot more about this stuff than I do. Total nerds, they follow it every day, and—personally—I don’t see much bias beyond a hint of patriotism. How can they not see this just as I do?

Well, I’ve noted it before and it has to do with paradigm. They subconsciously “know” it all makes sense, so they make it make sense or ignore what does not make sense. Nothing is hidden from them—you can see I’m literally getting the information from them—but they have the telescope turned the wrong way and it’s hard for them to make things out clearly.

As for me, if something strikes me as nonsensical then I check it out. Often, as here, I find nonsense and then I have to work to figure out what’s really going on.
