The writers snuck in a burn on flat earthers.
The thing is though, that pilots have admitted that they do not actually fly an parabolic flight plan as pictured there. So it may actually be a hidden egg to make you wonder if the pilot is pointing the nose of the plane slightly downward the entire flight so that he doesn't tangent line into outer space not following the curve.
This was a common argument by flat earthers. I cannot remember what the mainstream scientific rebuttal is.
