I once read about a debate between a Muslim and a Christian that took place in the Middle Ages. The Christian lived in Europe, the Muslim in the Middle East. This debate was about the Jews. The Christian strongly criticized the Jews, insulted them, and called them murderers of the Messiah. The Muslim then asked the Christian, "How can you hate the Jews for killing the Messiah when through his death you were given salvation? Shouldn't you thank the Jews for that?" The Christian became angry and replied to the Muslim, "The way you talk is the talk of a fool. Would you thank someone if their intention was wrong? The Jews' intention was not salvation but malicious murder. Why should I thank them for that?" At the time of this debate, the Caliphate in the Middle East was flourishing through advances in science, art, music, innovation, etc. It was the golden age of Islam, and the Muslims had the Jews to thank for it. In fact, Jews and Muslims were best friends at this time, despite some people's denials. However, things were different in Europe. Jews were extremely hated and regularly targeted. They found protection in the Caliphate. Economically, Europe was in a very weak state. Back then, Muslims called Europeans "barbarians" because of their primitive way of life.

But today it's not the same. Today, many Jews live in the West. Today, the Jews' best friend is the West. Today, the West is rich and progressive thanks to the Jews. Today, it is the Muslim who says to the Christian: "How can you love the Jews when they killed your Messiah?" And today, it is the Christian who replies to the Muslim: "If they had never killed him, I would never have been saved. I am thankful."

The Big Question: What happened? How could this once close friendship between Muslims and Jews be torn apart? There were several reasons, but the main one was this: Religious Zionism. The desire for their own state in Palestine and the construction of a Third Temple, and the fact that the Muslims strictly forbade them to do so, led them to migrate en masse to the West because the Jews said: "If the Muslims don't give us what we want, then we will simply go to the West and without us the Caliphate will weaken and we will build an empire in the West and make sure that the West helps us wage war against the Muslims, help us establish a Jewish state in Palestine, and finally help us build the Third Temple."
