Can someone confirm that the /qa/ board was Qanon themed? I've read that the hack was revenege against jannies for shutting that board down.
If that's true, it's very suspect. The kind of morons that fed at the Qanon trough are the opposite of what I would consider technically apt. Sounds more like a cover-story for feds taking down an easy target that has been allowed to speak critically of jews.
I mean, most decent hackers get compromised by the feds very quickly... there's no way I'll believe this wasn't in some way orchestrated by feds.

It wasn't. It was supposed to be a Questions&Answers board that went mostly unused until some shitposters colonized it, then the board was wiped and said shitposters went to form soyjak.party.
