Just a heads up, the negative ETI want to spread a new psyop claiming they made humans so they can later say they are our Gods and that legally we would have to worship them.
As usual, they will try and try to convince everyone so let's stop this psyop in it's tracks. As long as you know how the magician's tricks work, they won't work.
God making us in his image means our Spirit. This body is like a car and is actually the opposite of God's image. Our Spirit deep down inside is perfect and that is the true self. Being "reborn" in Spirit just means realizing that you aren't the body but the Spirit. This leads to salvation since it's like coming out of the insanity of thinking you are just a body. That is the truth.
Let us agree to disagree but I have no idea what Manichean means.
It's a dualistic religious teaching that opposes spirit to matter with roots in ancient gnosticism (1st-2nd c). It was the main contender to Christianity in the 3rd and 4th c. and was deemed heretical by the Church fathers of the time.
Gnostics are controlled opposition made to infiltrate Christianity.
If they think good and evil are just part of overall life, they are wrong. Only good is part of overall life while we young and ignorant humans are learning to be good through trial and error. Error is evil. It doesn't have to exist forever but it can exist temporarely. So ya, I disagree with the gnostics on that and I disagree with their stupid idea that Jesus had kids and that he studied in an Indian mystery school. Gnostics also have incorporated Satanic concepts in there because the whole religion was made by Roman Satanists to infiltrate Christianity. They are still abound online pushing false teachings. I know all about them but I had never heard of Manichaesim. I disagree with the struggle of good and evil. Nothing can oppose God who is good.
What you say is correct if by error you mean sin and disobeying God. Except I wouldn't say we learn to be good through trial and error because we have the knowledge of good and evil written on our hearts. But if you mean it in sense of spiritual growth where sinning is inevitable, I agree.
We choose sin and evil (which leads to death) through our own free will because of our fallen nature, so it's not a matter of knowledge and the mind (gnosis) but of the heart, namely rebelliousness and pride - the things that led to the fall in the first place. We must return to the pre-fall state and that's only possible through communion with Christ (theosis) since He took Adam's sin upon Himself with His sacrifice and defeated death.
