Faith is belief in what cannot be seen. Sorry God doesn't jump out and say "HEY FELLA HERE I AM!" Only He does. Just not in the personified manner you expect. The sun rise every day, the birth of a child, every time your body heals itself, the love people show you everyday.

Money is just printed paper. Giving a portion of it to the church is giving a portion of your labor toward supporting the establishment of that church. also via labor, volunteered time, membership, being active member of the congregation.
Your life is heavily affected by The Bible. The year you write down every time you write down the date. The morals and laws and what is generally considered right or wrong is from Christian foundation. The more you criticize Christianity and abandon it, the more the lines between right and wrong are blurred or erased altogether and you can no longer even define a man or a woman or understand what is right or what is wrong. Atheism is a downward spiral into a living hell. Most atheists are just stubborn pseudo-intellectuals living in the safety and luxury and protection and civility of a Christian culture.
