You are naturally and factually correct, but as faith and belief are the basic tenets of their belief structure, mere information will not change that.
You'd have to do brainwashing de-programming for months and most would just violently resist that.
Yet, I've met true christians, who live by the TRUE teachings of Christ (man or myth, doesn't matter), see bible for what it is (a tool of obedience control) and priests as mere gatekeepers.
But they are the extreme minority among the Christians I know, unfortunately.
Of course, similar could be said of hindus, buddhists, jews, muslisms, etc.
Most people just like to run scripts and obey.
