The reason the war on Palestinians rage is because Hamas attacked a music festival in Israel about a year ago; Israel has a right to defend itself, once attacked by Palestinians. Killing terrorist that wage war against you is not considered genocide. In 2005 Israel pulled out of Gaza, they have no interest in occupying the land there, they have even offered it to Egypt, who did not want it either.
Sheikh Jarrah seems to have been under Israeli control since 1967. I have no idea how this is relevant to anything. If you are afraid of losing territory, make peace with the Jews, instead of waging war with them.
