The best place to find evidence for this is in Jim Marrs book "Illuminati". There's an entire chapter on this with the evidence of it laid out and all.

He lays out all the evidence with footnotes in every chapter. He’s a pure genius. If you read his conspiracy books, you can tell they took years to put together in a painstaking way.
