Its meant to be hung and eye level with the horizon. This doesnt really prove flat earth or globe earth I guess, although the globe earth makes much more sense.
This is basic calculus, with enough records, it should be easy to create something like this. But at 2000 years ago, how did someone manage to create this if calculus had just become a thing.
I mean at the same time too, how can we look at a 2d screen and "see" objects as if they haddepth. Because of orthographic projection.
