They examined 2,814 men between 45 and 84 (bcz having a kid at 28 and the kid being 17-18 by the time being 45 (and 84?!) and directly correlates that to child rearing. Dumber still is that the paper showed life expectancy was longer than men without children.. but headline is xyz. #BurnTheBridge (media.scored.co)

This isn't a large enough group to study, but that age group is the people doing IVF these days. This study also ignores genetic heart problems. My father doesn't fit the age group, but he has sarcadosis. Reads like it's trying to make IVF money.

On the other hand, men who became fathers earlier in life -- age 25 or younger -- tended to have worse heart health and higher death rates.

“If you’re under 25, you may be less financially stable, your brain may be less mature and, especially for racial and ethnic minorities, you may have lower-paying jobs with fewer benefits and limited leave policies,” Parker said. “All of this can make it harder to focus on your health. There are a lot of public health interventions for young mothers, but no one has ever really looked at young fathers in this way.”

That's because most of these dads work corporate jobs and are the exact sort of NPCs that take it seriously and get really stressed about it

you don't sleep in on weekends

You realize "weekends" is a very very very modern notion, right?

You and most every one else in the family used to labor 7 days a week. Children were laborers as soon as they could walk.

What a narrow version of the world you cling to that you define the parameters off the last 75 years of humanity. That is "climate change" brand of perspective.

Aym giving you homework:

You must read one book on Roman peasants and 5 episodes of Time Team UK (they are free on YouTube) -- the original version not the recent brand episodes strictly made for YouTube.

That may be the dumbest response I've ever seen. Take the thing the the person said, completely dismiss it, and talk about some other idiotic bullshit. That person was right, but you couldn't stand that it wasn't your idea. The absolute definition of pompous.
