The heliocentric model of the solar system can be used to accurately predict the movements of all celestial objects. Flat Earthers cannot even agree on the shape and size of the Earth, Moon and Sun let alone produce any forumulas to predict their movement.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Mayan's have such an accurate understanding of Astrology*** they mapped out celestial bodies thousands of years in advance?

They also thought the earth was flat.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maya_astronomy

I'm also not a mathematician but if someone observes the world around them, and is good with numbers and patterns; they'd be able to come up with formula's to predict the movement of objects. There must be multiple formula's you could come up with that utilize different numbers that lead to the same outcome. Like different languages and words coming up with the same meanings.

I kind of figured that if you could account for a variable like gravity, and utilize it in your formula's, you'd be able to make math prove gravity exists by making the formula's use it towards an accurate outcome. And outcome you might have been able to reach using a different formula that doesn't account for that theoretical variable.

Probably sounds like schizoid shit but that's how I make sense of it. The possibility of it.

You are confusing astrology and astronomy.

Besides, there are no more Mayan astronomers so I don't see your point.

lol okay. The link I added was to Mayan Astronomy not Mayan Astrology. So i don't see your point.

You're point, is that an understanding of astrology is what made people stop thinking the earth is flat. My point, is that humans have understood astrology for much longer than that.

I had an entirely separate point about how mathematic equations can be manipulated to account for variables you could come up with... but I guess it's going over your head.

You are still confusing astrology with astronomy. Do you even know the difference?

Anyway, your hypotheticals about formulas is completely irrelevant. This is about facts, not scenarios you make up in your head.

Once again, I am not confusing astrology for astronomy anymore. It was a mixup of a single word... Again, this is the page regarding Mayan ASTRONOMY.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maya_astronomy

There is zero mention even of the word astrology. The fact is Mayan's had a deep understanding of ASTRONOMY. Another fact is that you keep insisting it's astrology when it clearly isn't.

In other words... You're being retarded.
