It also says "my people perish for lack of knowledge", which is exactly what is going on here, as the Christians who support Jews do so because they are ignorant of the fact that Judaism not only teaches that Jesus Christ was not the son of God, but even goes to the extreme and blasphemes Jesus horribly.
