The crescent moon symbolizes Osiris riding across the heavens upon the boat of Isis.

The Sun travelling across the heavens signifies an age. An age is a 2000-year period of time.

The Osirian Cycle is derived from Asia and Babel. Accounts of the Osirian Cycle are given by Plutarch and Synesius.

Plutarch's account of the Osirian Cycle may be termed "The Passion Play of Egypt." He was a Christian initiated into the Brotherhood of the Snake, also known as the Brotherhood of the Dragon. He would not have unveiled the secret meaning of the Osirian myth while he was an initiate.

Synesius was a Platonic philosopher initiated into the Pagan mysteries before he became a Christian bishop. His account of the Osirian Cycle is found in his treatise called "On Providence".

Nut had 5 children at different times and places: Osiris, Aroueris, Typhon, Isis and Nepthys. They can be equated with the divine kings of China, the exoterically known Dhyani-Buddhas of Lamaism, the 5 continents and the 5 races that populated the continents.

Diodorus describes two columns erected near Nysa in Arabia.

The Isis column says "I am Isis, Queen of this country. I was instructed by Mercury. No one can destroy the laws which I have established. I am the eldest daughter of Saturn, the most ancient of gods. I am the wife and sister of Osiris the king. I first made known to mortals the use of wheat. I am the mother of Horus the king. In my honor was the city of Bubastis built. Rejoice, O Egypt, rejoice, land that gave me birth."

The Osiris column says "I am Osiris the king, who led my armies into all parts of the world, to the most thickly inhabited countries of India, the north, the Danube, and the ocean. I am the eldest son of Saturn; I was born of a brilliant and magnificent egg, and my substance is of the same nature as that which composes light. There is no place in the Universe where I have not appeared, to bestow my benefit and make known my discoveries."

Nut's first-born son is Osiris, the black god of the Nile, the king of Heaven and of Earth and of the lower regions. When representing the Sun, he wears a sun-disc on his head.

Osiris represents the doctrine of the Order. This includes Zionism, the Mystery tradition, Soul Science philosophy, and novo ordo seclorum, meaning new world order.

Osiris can be equated with Ammon, Amen, Aten, Helios, Orion, Abel and Lucifer.

Osiris was born in the 7th month, which is why the forefathers of the United States of America signed the Declaration of Independence in July. According to Diodorus, he was born at Mount Nissa which is Mount Sinai. When he was born, a voice sounded throughout the world saying, "The Lord of all the Earth is born."

Osiris is born again in 3 forms. First, as the god of the underworld where he rules the justified dead. Second, as the younger Horus in whose form he battles for his own honor. Third, as Harpocrates, the silent child.

Osiris was given to Pamyles to be educated. He received from his father a dissertation in Platonic temper concerning the power of good and evil: “You also have been initiated in those Mysteries in which there are two pair of eyes, and it is requisite that the pair which are beneath should be closed when the pair that are above them perceive, and when the pair above are closed, those which are beneath should be opened.” The eyes above mean the exoteric. The eyes below mean the esoteric.

He then became King of Egypt. He aspired to civilize the nation in a happy and community existence. He compiled a body of laws, taught agriculture, and instructed in the reverencing in worship of the gods. He traveled, converting people to his discipline through persuasion of reason. He was accompanied by nymphs and other superphysical beings who filled the air with music.

Osiris is not wholly dead. He continues to live in the underworld where he superintends the ceremony of the psychostasia. The underworld is the world of the Mysteries.

Nut's 2nd child was Aroueris, the elder Horus.

Typhon is Nut's 3rd-born. He can be equated with Cain, Set, Seth, Seb, Geb, Saturn and Ahriman of Zoroastrianism.

Typhon represents The Black Brotherhood, Christianity, Titans, black magic, sorcery, insolence and pride.

The Black Brotherhood is the Jesuit Order.

Typhon is the opposer. The power of the physical universe is constantly seeking to destroy spiritual values locked within its substances. He is the spirit of dissension and discord. He breaks up unity of purpose by setting factions against each other so that great issues lose traction.

The Queen of Ethiopia, Typhon, and the 72 conspirators are the murderers of the master builder, representing the 3 destructive forces: ignorance, superstition and fear. They also represent the state, the church and the mob.

Typhon had ambitions to usurp Osiris' throne. Ambition is the patron of ruin. He persuaded the Ethiopian Queen and 72 others to join him.

He perfected the plot. He fashioned a chest to the measurement of Osiris' body. The chest is symbolic of material organization. In the 17th day of Athyr of Osiris' 28th year of reign or life when the Sun was in Scorpio, it was brought into the banquet hall where the Princes of Egypt were feasting their king's return. The box was promised to whose body it most fit. Each prince laid down in it but each was too short too tall. Osiris laid in the box last. When he did, the 72 conspirators clamped and nailed down the box cover. They poured molten lead over all the cracks and crevices. They threw the box in the Nile river.

Isis cut off one of the locks of her hair and put on mourning apparel at Coptos, the city of mourning. She wandered about Egypt. Some children told her they had seen accomplices of Typhon carrying a chest to the Nile river. She learned that her sister Nepthys, dressed as Isis, had sex with Osiris before he died, producing Anubis the dog-headed god. Anubis appears in the Book of the Dead and in hieroglyphics. Isis adopted him.

Isis had learned that the chest Osiris was in had been carried to the coast of Byblos, another name for book from which the Bible gets its name. The chest got lodged in the branches of a tamarisk bush that grew up around it and concealed it. The King of Byblos cut down the tree to make it into a pillar to support the roof of his palace with the chest still concealed in the trunk.

Isis attached herself to the Queen's suite as a nurse to her children who she fed with her finger instead of her breast. At night, she transformed herself into a swallow and fluttered around the column, trying to restore Osiris' breath by the fluttering of her wings. This ceremony is concealed in the Book of the Respirations, inspired by the Book of the Dead.

Every night Isis passed the Queen's children through fire to render them immortal. When the Queen saw this she shrieked which broke the charm and deprived them of immortality.

Isis asked the pillar to be cut down. She departed with the chest into a desert place where she performed magical rites, temporarily animating Osiris' body. She conceived younger Horus, the child who was conceived of the dead and would be used to avenge upon Typhon.

The Mystery School was the original college run by Nimrod in Babylon. The college was a college of priests who practice the religion of the Sun. The college, the adepts, the initiates and the priests were scattered all over the world when Seth came with an army and defeated Nimrod. Seth chopped Nimrod up into little pieces and scattered him all over the land. This is where the legend comes from.

Isis returned to Egypt and hid the chest in a remote and unfrequented place. Typhon, while hunting by moonlight, came across it.

He divided Osiris' body into 14 parts and scattered the parts over Egypt just as the Secret Doctrine had been scattered. It was scattered through the 7 divine and 7 infernal spheres, the lokas and talas of India or the 7 worlds which are without and the 7 worlds which are within of Jewish Cabbala.

Isis came to put him back together again and bring him to life. She could find all the pieces save one, the phallus, or the generative force. It is now known as the Lost Word of Freemasonry, and the phallus is represented by the obelisk, the monolith. It is the penis of Osiris, the generative force. It represents the Luciferian philosophy, the light, the Sun, Lucifer, the intellect.

Typhon scattered the parts again, which may refer to the Atlantean deluge. The doctrine was swallowed and lost. Its fragments were scattered among all of the existing civilizations of that time, from Egypt to Phoenicia, and celebrated at Tyre. Osiris became Adonai or Dionysius.

Typhon imprisoned Isis and Horus, but Thoth helped Isis escape. Thoth prophesied that Horus would sit upon the throne of his father and rule the double empire of Egypt.

Isis hid Horus in the papyrus swamp called Butos, then traversed the whole empire. Isis in black sackcloth and ashes represents the congregation pleading for the restoration of the reign of truth.

She found her husband's parts and buried each one separately where she found them after encasing them in a magical mummy composed of wax, incense and grain seed.

She didn't recover her husband's phallus, the Lost Word of Freemasonry, the Secret Doctrine, for it was thrown into the river and devoured by three fish which represent ignorance, superstition and fear. These also represent the church which is Christianity, the state, and the mob. The word for the physical body after the departure of the soul is khat represented by the fish hieroglyphic.

Isis reproduced Osiris' phallus in gold. This represents perfected adepts born again out of the womb. The life power is not there. The priesthood had accomplished all that could be accomplished by natural philosophy so they had to turn to magic. The golden phallus is rendered alive by the secret processes rescued from the lost Book of Thoth. Thus the divine power of Osiris is restored through the regeneration of the man himself and the process of initiation. This ensured the life of Osiris in the underworld, saving him from the death of scorpion stings.

The perfected adepts swallowed the triple phallus of Osiris, the three-fold generative power concealed under the letters A-U-M.

Horus longed to avenge his father. Osiris appeared to him in a vision, instructing him how to defeat Typhon.

Horus gathered an army and defeated Typhon who was taken prisoner and turned over to the custody of Isis. Isis couldn't bring herself to kill her own brother so she gave him liberty. This made Horus so angry that he removed from Isis' head her royal insignia. Thoth gave her a new helmet in the shape of an Ox's head.

Typhon accused Horus of illegitimacy, but Thoth proved Horus' royal descent. Horus and Typhon battle again. Horus wins again.

After its resurrection in the underworld, the shade of Osiris visits Isis and in consequence thereof she gives birth to another son by a Holy Ghost. This child is called Harpocrates.

Plutarch says of him, "he came into the world before his time, and lame in his lower limbs." Harpocrates is usually depicted as a nude figure, his head adorned with a single curling lock of hair on the right side, this being an Egyptian symbol of youth or adolescence. He is sometimes depicted with an elaborate plumed headdress or wearing the double crown of the northern and southern empires. His finger is placed to his lips which Plutarch interprets as a gesture symbolic of his childish and helpless state. The Greeks and Romans, however, considered this gesture to be a symbol for silence or secrecy and from this has arisen the custom of placing the finger to the lips as a motion for quietness and secrecy. Statues of the god Harpocrates were placed at the entrances to temples and sacred retreats where the dramas of the Mysteries were performed as a sign that silence and secrecy should be observed in the holy places and that all Initiates were bound by vows of discretion. Harpocrates is sometimes shown standing, and other times he is depicted seated on a blossom of a lotus. He is usually figured with childish immaturity of body.

Horus is the son of Isis the widow who was left without doctrine, Osiris. Horus is the personification of the lord of Abydos, the Logos, God's Risen Sun

He represents a collective of priests, Sons of Isis, widow's sons, who are initiates and magicians. They are the Herj Seshta, companions of Horus. Their chief, who wore the dog-headed mask of Anubis, is called by Lewis Spence the Chief of the Mysteries par excellence.

Horus is pictured as a dove as the bringer of peace. The dove was a type of the soul that was derived from Hathor.

Horus is pictured as a hawk as the God of war who punishes his enemies. The hawk is the Egyptian bird of soul. It is the all-seeing bird whose eye is on the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States of America.

Horus is The Logos, The Lost Word of Freemasonry, The Word that was made flesh and dwelt among us.

It is represented by the obelisk, the monolith and the stone. The obelisk is a phallic symbol, the Penis of Osiris, representing a generative force. It means there is no god, that man is God.

Horus is God's risen Sun. Pharaohs were said to be ruling for God's Sun on Earth. He was called "King of the Kingdom" and the "Great Potter".

He fashions man on a potter's wheel. In the book, The African Belief in God, hieroglyphics from Egyptian temples show the god Khnemu fashioning the body of one of Ptolemies on his potter's wheel. Behind him stands Thoth marking his Span of Life on a staff.

Horus is the Great Shepherd of His Sheep, The Good Shepherd. Mankind is the sheep of God. Their wool is worn as an apron around a Freemason's waist. Over the rising and setting Sun apron is the Serpent apron.

Nut's 5th child is Nephthys, Set's wife, the protective goddess of the dead, the institution through which black magic and sorcery manifests, who represents the material world.
