It shd be that simple but they would not give cash but instead issue a check AND cops can not actually do any thing, which is a by product of bankers making laws
The law is on the banks' side, and when he asks for it all they'd freeze his account instead of giving him the money. He'd be penniless for at minimum 6 months, with no particularly strong reason to believe he'll ever see his money again. Even if he walks away and doesn't buy the car, there will be a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) on his account, which is likely to get the account frozen anyway at some random point over the next few weeks.
Every Western bank does this, because (((FinCEN))) has gone to every country and made them do it. Even Switzerland stopped offering truly anonymous bank accounts to US citizens.
Every western bank does not restrict withdrawals to 3k. You can withdrawal cash perfectly fine if the bank doesn't have its own rules source It might cause the bank to file a Suspicious Activity Report but it's not illegal source
Not illegal, but your sources lie about how banks actually behave, and so will the banks themselves (even asking about these matters can get your account frozen), until they decide to lock your account, and then they won't tell you why.
Do you have a source proving my "sources are lying" or is that your opinion? To clarify I'm not at all defending banks but a lie goes around the world twice before the truth gets its pants on and I don't abide that when avoidable
should have immediately closed his account, gotten his cash, and changed banks.
if they refuse to give him his money, call the cops and report a robbery.
Amen. I expect TD.....they love Chinese immigrants who cannot speak English and steal money and IP haha

Was that an American bank? Why was he using his passport as ID? Cash has been fake since 1971

I've seen sources that would back me up, but it was years ago, and today's censored search engines can't find them.
