The absolutely remarkable thing for me is to see how tolerant Americans, British, etc.. have become of foreign allegiances by politicians. This is absolutely a modern behavior conditioned over the last 100 years.
The metric of a leader used to be how radical their loyalty was to country and culture. This is why Hitler and Mussolini were so liked, they bled their colors in speech. Think of other great representative leaders, Napoleon bled French, Saladin bled Muslim, Julius Caesar bled Rome.. there was no doubt of loyalty otherwise they were seen as traitors.
But that is the word filtered out.. Traitor. We do not use it any more. Hell ayh get grammar nazis when suggesting government is treasonous bcz they are, government.
The word TRAITOR needs to be restored and aggressively used. It needs to radicalize people, think 1984. There shd be a restoration of the normalization of pols being assassinated when they show their disloyalties like they do now.
