This is gaining attention fast on Reddit and other sites.

It has a strong stench of bullshit.

Smells like another fake, orchestrated or hijacked uprising of the people.

Summary of the video

We have a problem: Game companies are making games dependent on servers they provide and when those servers are shut down, the game you purchased is no longer playable.
This is the solution: Cry to nanny government for help and further expand their power in the process.

Why it's of interest

Video games are quickly becoming the primary form of entertainment.

Video game creation is decentralized (couple teens in a bedroom can literally make a hit game) so TPTB are having a bitch of a time capturing it the way they captured TV and film.

What's the conspiracy?

The actual likely goal of this 'campaign' is to set up the introductory stage of a system of legal penalties and hurdles for anyone who wants to make an online multiplayer game.

This helps ensure that independent game makers won't want to risk entering the online multiplayer game space, leaving it in the hands of the globalist mega corps.

Though it might not even be this specific. It might just simply be about normalizing the process of increasing government power over video games.

What's the actual solution to the problem?

Voting with your pocketbook. You simply refuse to buy from game makers with a history of making their game totally dependent on their servers, then shutting down said servers.

Absolutely hilarious that you linked to MVG; the only game-related YouTuber that I never miss.

There is also a push back from gamers against companies like sweetbaby interfering with games. These third party companies are deliberately installing woke nonsense into the content and ruining the games.

Gamers are now pushing for independent devs and boycotting anything woke

True, but I'll take you one step further down the rabbit hole:

Sweet Baby Inc. might be secretly tasked with sabotaging the 'woke' agenda by advising the insertion of things that are guaranteed to destroy the game. Namely excessively overt propaganda that triggers regurgitation, rather than clever, subtle boiling-frog propaganda that remains ingested.
