According to NASA, the hypothetical planet could have a mass about 10 times that of the Earth, and may take between 10,000 and 20,000 Earth years to make one full orbit around the Sun.

Using data from the Pan-STARRS1 survey, the researchers were able to to eliminate 78 percent of the places that had previously been given as suggestions for the planet's location.

Sharing their thoughts on why the planet hasn't been found yet, the team wrote: "An obvious possibility, of course, is that Planet Nine does not exist. Such an explanation would require new explanations for multiple phenomena observed in the outer Solar System. Until such explanations are available, we continue to regard Planet Nine as the most likely hypothesis."

Again, why the hard on for brown dwarfs? This is literally what the backyard worlds survey is doing, looking for them while looking for planet 9.

They try to make it sound like this is just a bullshit study, but they accidentally slipped the truth in one of the guy's quotes.

Id say chances are good this object actually exists and when it comes through again, it wont be good. I think its happened before and that whoever wrote the horoscope and the original bible were trying to warn human kind that it would happen again.

I dont think earth will go flying off into the nether regions of space, but I always wondered. If something like planet 9 existed and it came as close as mars/jupiter. It would likely only be at its closest point for a few days, or maybe 7? Anyway. I wondered if it could create a huge tidal wall of water from the gravity. Could certainly explain some of the old flood legends. Water bulges towards the second sun, and the earth rotates through it basically. Could you imagine LOL.
