Cities become overpopulated during inductrial revolution to keep cheap and poor workforce closer to factories. Today it have no sense at all. Factories moved out of cities, need much less workforce and workforce become wealthy enough to have their own means of transportation.
There is jus no any sense in overpopulated cities anymore.
About "Chineese piece of shit". Chineese long ago learned how to make high quality things. We have large influx of Chineese cars here. And suddenly, people find out that they are not any worse than South Korean and modern European/Japaneese cars. Chineese could make anything, and will never deny making shit if customer will ask for cheapest possible price. So, you have to deal with "Chineese piece of shit" only because importers from your country, or you yourself want cheapest possible price. Pay decent money to Chineese, and you will get decent Chineese product instead of "Chineese piece of shit". Simple as that.
If you live so far away from other people, you should be able to fly your bushcraft around anywhere you please without anyone noticing, right?
In most countries anything flying lower that 30-300 meters (this ceiling depends on the country) anywhere except from areas around airports and other strict air control zones are not accounted as aircraft at all. No licensing or registration needed. It is accounted right thing to do to notify nearby ATC about your flight, but it is not mandatory. So, I could fly here on anything I want perfectly legally. Just do it lower than ceiling.
There is small amateur airport nearby (relatively), they fly on everything from hot air balloons to autogyres over my house for more than 20 years. I fled too on their devices, just for fun (autogyre is the best, really. Amasing flying machine).
