There is a ancient sanskrit story that supposedly talks about all this. And its strange to me that OP says the moon is part of the earth, but the infographic clearly states its likely not even from this solar system.
I have read this story before, but ILL BE DAMNED if I have not been able to find it again. I do remember it is briefly mentioned in ancient aliens in season 4 maybe. But im not gonna watch that entire series to find this one little part. I doubt they even reference what story its from.
From what I remember, their story is very similar to sumeria. The gods found this planet, they created a mega continent, they used a spaceship as big as the moon to haul it from somewhere. And whenever they would see this ship approaching, tsunamis, earthquakes, would start to happen due to the sheer size of it.
Of course you couldnt land a craft like this, but they are filled with smaller landing craft that the gods would use to come down from the sky.
Again, I cannot find this text for the life of me and I even spent a hour or two looking last night.
The aerial cars are definitely a thing though. If you have any doubts go read the epic of ramayana. Hell even just google "aerial" "Celestial" "car". I dont think its a coincidence that buddy wrote "rendezvous with rama" after reading this story. Man I should really try to use some of my knowledge to be a ghost writer or something. Seems a shame that ill likely end up homeless. Anyway.
I swear this stuff is being destroyed and covered up, it gets a little harder to find everytime I look.
Ravana, by means of magic, constructed a fresh chariot of war. It was of more dreadful aspect even than the renowned Pushpaka. The car of ebony, unrelieved by any golden chasings, was drawn by two coal-black steeds, with faces that strangely resembled the countenance of man.
Feel like mentioning this because that 4chan thread about the giant ufo floating in the ocean, capable of printing/breaking down ufos on the fly rings a bell..
Whilst Rama hesitated, the celestial charioteer Matali, called to him. "Hail, Sun amongst the Princes of Men!" he cried; "Indra himself has sent thee this car of victory, that thou mayest triumph over this cruel fiend, and deliver the oppressed races of the earth!"
I feel like mentioning this, because this is VERY VERY similar to the greek legends. The modern greek legends say that only one god has a aerial car, that he used to pull the sun across the sky. But that is simply not true.
In the older stories. They had a god who built these chariots, and trained pilots for them. He also built tripods capable of moving on their own and some other things.
Hephaestus (/hɪˈfiːstəs, hɪˈfɛstəs/; eight spellings; Greek: Ἥφαιστος, translit. Hḗphaistos) is the Greek god of artisans, blacksmiths, carpenters, craftsmen, fire, metallurgy, metalworking, sculpture and volcanoes.
Hephaestus appears to have been an indispensable member of the olympic assembly, where he plays the part of smith, armourer, chariot-builder. As already mentioned he constructed the palaces where the gods resided, fashioned the golden shoes which they trod the air or water, built for them their wonderful chariots, and shod with brass the horses of celestial breed, which conveyed these glittery equipages over aland and sea. He also made the tripods which moved of themselves in and out of the celestial halls formed for zeus the farfamed aegis, and erected the magnificent palace of the sun. Amongst his most renounced works for mortals were, the armour of achilles and aeneas, the beautiful necklace of harmonia, and the crown of Ariadne;
Anyway, some of you who havent seen me talk about this are proably thinking.
Yeah so what some "cars" that they drove around on. Lol not quite, depending on what version you read. Its a bit like reading a sci novel, with flying vehicles, monkey men(prolly us actually), lasers, missiles, invisibility.
