Either way, this has been going on for a long time. Aaron, the one who wrote the original backend for reddit. Had it right by trying to make these papers free to everyone, not just to people willing to pay for access to whatever journals. You would think with something like the internet, they would want as much information as possible for anyone to look at, but that doesnt seem to be what they do with it. At this point it just seems to be a propaganda, entertainment machine.
As we all have felt, the internet is growing more confined and history/information is being erased.

I really miss the internet 20 years ago.
Indeed, if the Internet were to fail or be sabotaged now I think it would be beneficial to humanity as a whole
