Democrats changed marriage to Gay marriage. Republicans resisted and lost. Then Republicans made no attempt to change it all back. They forfeited.
Democrats changed Healthcare by federalizing it, pushing universal healthcare. Again, Republicans pretended to oppose it. They failed to repeal it under Trump and then just permanently gave up
Not a single republican even campaigns on banning gay marriage or making sodomy illegal or reversing Obamacare. Once Republicans forfeit they move on to pretending to resist the NEXT Democrat party agenda.

When have Republicans gone on the offensive and made Democrats put up resistance? Never. Democrats also vote in unison, whereas there are always a dozen or two dozen Republicans who switch over and vote for Democrat legislation to help pass it through. Populists need to form a third party that refuses to debate the MSM's divisive narratives, and instead pushes for tax reform that closes the billionaire's tax loops, while forcing term limits for all elected and appointed officials, almost all of whom are owned by the billionaires.
We can nitpick over the tedious divisive topics once the billionaires are paying their fair share of the taxes and the career politicians have reached the end of their terms.
