In Silicon Valley, we have always kind of known Google was a tool of the State. But so have been Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and others.
We call them alphabet agencies for a reason and their parent company is called Alphabet for the same reason. Kind of funny to see the movie Swordfish come to life in some way.
