So why don’t horoscopes account for Ceres, Pallas, Vesta, or any of the other asteroids? They’re there. Eris is larger than Pluto. Why isn’t it accounted for? Exoplanets exist. Or are they just “too far away” to “influence” people? If so, what is the physical mechanism by which the local planets perform this influence?

The thing is.....if you read into it, people do not claim to 'know with certainty ' what the effects are...but over time (centuries of recorded and comparative analysis) they have come to common understanding....the ones which people track ..and measure get correlated and their influence is measured...like science....after observation.
Even the chatGPT has enough source material to know the common effects 🤣
