Germs are real. But Romans have cities. Egyptians have cities, the Chinese (Tang Dynasty) have cities. So why does Europe of all things (which was in the most superstitious, anti-common sense period at that time) get hit THIS hard by the Bubonic plague because of "crowded, shitty hygiene systems"?
Oh right the hygiene system was destroyed by Jews who think that hygiene for Europlebs is heresy.
(Also by "Chinese through the silk road" it's probably invading Mongols. I'm sure they got the rat plague after striking Europe amidst a pandemic.)
