a) PARA (beyond) MOUNT (growth) aka deviating from growth; which implies continuing loss.

b) beyond aka BE-ing YOND, adjective - "mad; furious, or alienated in mind; that is, gone, wandering".

c) look at the picture...do you see a mountain rising or something being dissolved? If it's rising, then why is it called a "peak"?
