was the most unusual way that we had ever gotten paid the person sent us cash which we don't encourage and they and they sent it from all the way from Romania it was US currency but it was very interesting they had taken two crisp $100 bills and folded them up into a tiny little package and it opened up the door of a floppy disk and put the money inside a floppy disk and then they mailed us the floppy disk with a note on the cover of the floppy disk it said the customs inspectors steal the money but they don't read English it's inside the floppy disk

i used to deal with floppies, eh.. like got my first comp in april 1997.. for 3900 bucks.. wasn't even 56k internet back then. Netscape browser. I got it so I could order groceries delivery from foodfare. lol. Who's hard drive was what.. lol.. I don't know.. but went to this other computer store after, got a cd burner but only way was through scsi. 500 bucks more. So for burning cd's those are 700mb disc space yeah.. the whole operating system was like 1.6GB.. merlin NEC from future shop. I was able to clear 1000mb for doing CD's in 97. Had to uninstall the "merlin". lol. animated helper character. lol. That's a tight margin.

But kinda neat cause in the 90's I had bunch of various analog recording equipment.. 4 track.. later 8 track.. few racks. Now you could "see" the audio.

I get this sony mavica "digital" camera, where you'd put floppy discs in it. Kinda neat, cause you can just keep putting more in, eh.
