those who seek to control lack the vision to see how things/inventions/ideas can help people.
(((TPTB))) would have killed off the Wright Brothers and a half dozen others who were just as close to realizing the idea of heavier-than-air flight, and if those inventers couldn't be killed, their pioneering endeavors would have been legislated against. once that cat was out of the bag, your basic shadetree mechanic with a few extra bucks (5-10k in our era) could know a profound freedom and experience few had known prior.
automobiles & ICE were the same way. if (((tptb))) knew the freedom ICE was going to allow average people, they would've killed off Diesel and the like, or enacted noise or environmental legislation against those pioneers.
...or bullshit some (intentional?) catastrophe into something so horrendous potential investors would be scared off and no one would want to go near it, like with the Hindenburg. hydrogen is less dangerous than gasoline, and crazy easy to make, but conventional wisdom is scared AF of anything to do with hydrogen.
if (((tptb))) would have seen where the internet was going to go, the internet would have been regulated far sooner and with greater strictures than it currently is. the early AOL model would be the minimum gate fee.
The elite couldnt develop these technologies themselves. Perhaps they understand that a free open system creates all sorts of innovation, while close sourced things do not. (hint to those who dont get it, they know this)
I think that kinda ties into why all media right now is just so bad, I cant think of a good mainstream movie, game, book, or anything that wasnt just some stupid ass shit. I will have to say I watched that netflix series the fall of house of usher and I must say, I did enjoy that. I spend very little time sleeping, always have. Just fucking terrible my quality of sleep is fucked right now making it worse. Gonna be a while before I get help for the parathyroid, im hoping by then ill be desperate enough to let someone cut me. I know Im almost there now. But I dont trust these fuckers man, they could cut everything out, its prolly not gonna fix the problem. Im just fucked basically lol. Pretty sure im going down for the count relatively soon.
Man, how many lives are being savagely ended like this, its insane. Im gonna bitch about canada here for a second, but lets face it, its not like america, or any other crown country (and their all crown owned by some royalty or another) isnt any better.
This article showed up in the r/canada sub today. Ive been saying this, but its not like im the only person who knows, that the doctor shortage in canada is manufactured. I wouldnt even be so rude to doctors, but having two of them break their hippocratic oath, that does unfortunately reflect upon all doctors. Sorry guys, thats how it works.
I almost, feel bad for them, almost. Until the day I get recognition and help, fuck every single one of them.
Our beloved universal health-care system can be seen as on par with a developing country’s. (The Commonwealth Fund, a health-care advocacy group, ranked Canada’s performance 10th among 11 high-income countries — with the U.S. last.) Heart attacks and perforated guts can languish for hours in the ER wait room, directly leading to morbidity and mortality for the unfortunate patients. Only a small portion of these stories make it to the media. And universal access to our broader system is a joke when getting a GP is increasingly about who you know, faster care is awarded to those who shout the loudest, and those who can afford it pay for private imaging or fly to the U.S. to get more timely care.
Tragically, I regularly diagnose more patients with late-stage cancers than ever. These are people who should have been screened earlier, but either did not have a family doctor or had insufficient access to one, and are now sentenced to die. Perhaps worse are the cases when someone’s cancer has been caught at an early stage, but they come to our ERs seeking help as they are still waiting two months later for their first appointment with an oncologist. All I can do is offer my sympathy and send them home with the knowledge that their treatable cancer is spreading.
Why the fuck are the people of canada taking this, what the hell is wrong with these people. When I went in for my last blood draw, the nurse straight up told me if I could go home and get healthcare do it. But sadly I dont have shit because I cant keep a job. Catch fucking 22.

have comforted people on their death beds or when I know their time is ending and it's my last time seeing them on an outpatient setting... but when you see results knowing their time is coming soon and there's nothing you can do, or you have to deliver such awful news (that could be preventable) day in and day out... it's something that even the most hardened veterans in the field will feel despair from.
I know that I've also been feeling burned out and some days I feel the signs of compassion fatigue. When I try to help dozens of people per day, only realizing that for some of them, it's not enough... or when I get berated for long wait times or their inability to see me.... well I can only do so much in a day. My wife sometimes jokes that she sees me less than the patients do and it does break my heart knowing that.
As much as I want to feel some "compassion" for these fucks, I expect them as "educated" people to put the blame on the real fucking problems. Like the "college of physicians and surgeons" from which to my understanding since im just a ignorant yankie, control how many doctors have seats.
They are artificially limiting doctors, burning out the ones who will work, proably the old school ones who still believe in silly things like the Hippocratic oath or covering for doctors who change paperwork or even in some cases, sexually harassing patients.
it's like this with anything innovative.

Ill even take it a step further...
