It was to distract from stuff like the McMartin pre-school which was confirmed to have the tunnels (and pentagrams and animal bones) in the finders documents when the FBI released the stuff due to a FOIA request.

It was similar stuff and probably ties in but doubtful it was Epstein island, just similar stuff.
