That's the Jesus Freak, " Leave it alone it's evil" showing. There's no point in trying. I was once told not to do my homework because the professor assigned a Manly P. Hall book. The people never read the man, never saw a biblioghraphy of his research, didn't even read the book cover they were telling me not to read because it was evil. They just saw his name, and declared it evil.

There's a time and place for everything. But, it gets taken too far too often leading to the willful ignorance we just read.
