I was dumb enough to do this when it first started back in 2011. Back before the FDA stepped in to regulate the kinds of medical information could be provided to customers.
Anyways, one thing that stuck out was how many of their genetic comparisons were always comparing against Ashkenazi jews.
The supposed reasoning is that ashkenazi jews have disproportionate rates of genetic deficiencies and polymorphisms relative to other populations. That line of logic doesn’t make sense, considering most people are NOT ashkenazi jews and 23andMe did not explicitly state what comprises genetically “jewish” ancestry.
Anyways, it’s clear as day now that it’s a data mining operation. Lots of normie conspiracy theorists have acknowledged that these companies are actively looking for “something” within the population. What that is is still not clear.
I know right, thats what the thoughts have been in the conspiracy circles since they started. It does seem like they are looking for something specific.
I almost got my dna tested for the wing family project, but when the kit showed up my dad flipped out about it so I promised him I wouldnt do it. I know the family has some unique pair or something that they share with one other family.
The Wing family has a what is currently considered a family or private SNP under the L48 Haplogroup. This SNP is called M157.2 (as this same mutation has been previously found in another haplogroup). Two members of the Wing family, each descended from a different son of Rev. John Wing, have both been found to exhibit this SNP, which proves this SNP occurred with or before Rev. John Wing. In other words, this means every male Wing (who descends in a straight paternal line from Rev. John Wing) would also be expected to have this SNP. Thus far, no other family has been found to also have this SNP.
Most of us proably have our dna on record anyway in america anyway, the blood dots that they have been doing for decades are not as anonymous as they once claimed.
For some really odd fucking reason, after all these years. It just hit me the irony that I would be born into this family.
I consider myself very spiritual, I dont believe in a traditional god, but I believe in something. Im not sure what that is.
And to find out in the end my bloodline was the same 400 years ago, I hate to gloat but that makes me proud.
Dont need fame and success, this life is just a fleeting dream anyway. I just wanted to be happy and after being poisoned with refrigerant, its never going to happen.
I'm not convinced it's entirely inbreeding. Ashkenazi are likely to be the least inbred out of the rest. Paki Muslims are insanely inbred and don't seem to be as genetically deficient as most of them. Actually, that sounds like a really, really good homework assignment to research.

Man, right in the feels with that last part.
Inbreeding is a helluva drug.
