I thought Walmart did that too. But instead of hiking fees they just deny selling your product until you give them the best price.
I had heard that, for in-store items. Maybe Walmart bought off, I mean, made the appropriate campaign contributions, while Jeff Besos hasn't lately. Just speculation.
My guess is refusing to sell something or changing different fees is two separate laws and Amazon chose the wrong one.
