Oh no. I've had someone declare that I was being hateful against Catholics because when I called them a." God damn liar " they tried to tell me about using the Lord's name in vain rather than, you know... Not lying. And I was like wtf?! All the times I've heard ministers use those words while preaching. So I said, "That must me a Catholic thing. It's not saying the Lord's name in vain for me". My opinion then, and now is still that we have denominations because of disagreements. No point in fights about the disagreements.
No one ever calls me a God damned liar because I don't lie. Who knew that phrase was so great at making people angry?!
I already told you. Praying to saints is idolitry. Aka praying to false gods. That's it.
Edit : Being that you said you follow occult AND you are familiar with Catholicism, I hope it's easier for you to see that the rituals a Catholic does is considered magic by others. I was raised in a Jesus freak family but, you can see by my comments that I enjoy learning more. Dr. Steven Skinner would call me an arm chair magician. My family never called out anyone. Simply pointing to all the, " No's", and, " don't do it" . Catholics do a whole lot of the nos.
