Many children were home alone while parents were working. When the disaster struck, there was no guidance to them to get to safety, and even if they had tried, they did not have cars. Maybe bicycles, on a bike you are not fireproof and gusts would have fried the kids. But many thinking to stay sheltered in their home as a safe haven were burned up in the houses. I believe most of the missing kids were burned alive. May god punish the authorities who did not even sound the alarm sirens.
