3D printing was all the rave back around 2012. Now I don't hear anything about it.
I hate having to buy anything made out of plastic. I should be able to just print it with a 3D printing machine and the file for the 3D scan.
Why was this technology basically brought to a halt and not developed?
It seems technology is stalled since 2010.
Not much innovation going on.
Perhaps the motivation and incentive has been removed.
There has been plenty of activity with 3D printing the last several years. There are communities and youtube channels centered around it.
Yeah i know. I just expected it to catch on faster. The tech's been out for 10+ years and it's still very stagnate.
I still buy lots of plastic parts that i should be able to print. For example all the fucking irrigation parts i use on the farm are made of plastic.
I wonder if i could print something equivalent to PVC fittings which have doubled in price since the scamdemic.
I bought a plastic staple welder I'm going to use to try to do some fiberglass repairs with.
