In January of 1477 i collaborated with old Ottoman friend (where i was held captive in my young years) and faked my death by cursing a doppelganger to his fate. My old friend stood party in the Ottomon Empire ambush which slayed the doppelganger and sent his head to Sultan Mehmet II in Constantinople. Stephen III of Moldavia confirmed my supposed death. From then on I had to carry on as though I was dead, got in with some vampires and centuries later I'm still here.
