It's also possible that there are listening apparatus in the newer 5G towers that are spread everywhere, aside from the standard 5G listening. For example, towers broadcast signals at a different frequency for the purposes of telling you how much signal strength you have on your phone. I could imagine a scenario where there are various purpose built antenna inside of the standard 5G array that do things other than what ordinary people think they do.
