For whatever it may mean, I would remind everyone that Jason Aldean was the performer on stage when the Las Vegas "event" took place. By the end of the week, he was performing in an (unprecedented?) musical cold open on Saturday Night Live, which served to jumpstart his career.

Personally, I think the guy is compromised and this is all some lame kabuki whose purpose I couldn't care enough to try to discern.
