Some question whether neutrinos even exist at all. David de Hilster points out that the "need" from neutrinos arose from particle collision experiments not showing the required energy output calculated using Einstein's relativity. But that assumes we need to conform results to Einstein's theory rather than the other way around. It may be a faulty assumption.
