I own a copy of Cavalier which carried the first publication of Lawnmower Man. The print story is completely different from the movie btw, and features a god Pan-like menacing gardener.

Actually, it was early stage of his learning his craft. It was okay and used horror implication instead of blood and gore, then at the end turned gory.

he's known in the world as one of the most prolific writers with the output of 2000 words a day, and I call bs on that. remember Richard Bachman? the official story is that publishing this much didn't look professional, so he had to take up a pen name, when in fact it's just humanly impossible.
