At what point? If we rewind a decade or two, who'd buy a product that they knew they were being spied on and their anonymity was breached. They'd have never have sold those products. What happened today?

At what point today has society rolled over to the point of the latest bullshit cars, and having no encryption?

It hasn't improved anything else except taxes, debt, inflation.

There is encryption, but, it's the case of: encryption for me, not thee. Government's want it, along with mega corps. However, they don't want the average pleb with that ability. No, no!!. What they fail to realize though, is that Pandora is out of her box, and you cannot stop the signal, nor can you stop decentralization.

It's crazy though, people want https for their banking, but, think as long as they have nothing to hide they don't need privacy in their messages (or other business). It's a crazy double thought. It's Stockholm Syndrome...

"fighting terrorism"

lol. teaching India's denizens to poo in a loo would save more lives than terrorists have taken. the recent train crash/collision that killed 500+ was due to track ballast being so fouled with shit, drainage was affected and the bed undermined.
