Either that, or the Great Pyramids predates the flood of Noah, which happened about 4500 years ago. Consider how much water damage there is on the Pyramids, I think it is fair to say they spend about a year being submerged under water.
Might not have been dug out of the sand until a few hundred years ago, as the Earth was covered with a sentiment layer from the flood: before the flood, the ground was cursed, and man had trouble growing things in it; after the flood, the ground got quite fertile, as the curse of the ground was lifted, seeing as we had all this new soil covering the ground that ended up above the water.
That is interesting as I had never heard of the Great Pyramids predating the flood before. I am a young(ish) earth Creationist but haven't really looked into comparing Egyptian history. Any links you would recommend?
Trey Smith on YouTube has info in some of his videos. During Noah's time there were Giants and human animal hybrids. Notice in the pyramids the hieroglyphics almost always show a gigantic slave master and tiny servants. Also a ton of animal human hybrids. The Egyptians only found the pyramids and cleaned them up but claimed they built them. Funny they have extremely detailed documents about everything except for how they built the pyramids.
No links. I remember reading that Egyptians themselves saying that their culture predates them. Considering that Abraham visited Egypt, confirming that the Egyptian culture that we know of, existed some 4000 years ago, there would not have been enough time from the flood to build the great Pyramids, then have them + the civilisation that built them, vanished, by the time Abraham got there.
Also remember that the life span before the flood was close to 1000 years, so they had to build things to last. Could not have their buildings fall apart after a couple of hundred years.
