I had been temp banned at least 10x. I have no idea. Being permanently banned was great for my productivity.
For those of you that intend to go back. Download the Reddit app apk, and use an app like lucky patcher to remove all the bullshit. You may get lucky and someone will do it for you. Modded apk does not require root on android.
I don't know how to assist you on apple. Perhaps someone in the comments will.
I doubt anyone is going to come here over the two day ban, but we may see a influx of users over the next few months when they kill api access.
I wasnt banned, I seem to be one of the few here who had the self restraint to delete my account.
I was banned from random shit for participating in nonewnormal, which I couldnt believe honestly, and reddit bans nonewnormal for "brigading" what a fucking joke!

Reddit is a propaganda machine, why people are still using it, oh yeah because they are dumb as fuck. Or a corporate whore.
I was banned from r/halifax for bitching about the corona lockdowns and about being poisoned with refrigerant, im sure they got tired of hearing me work that into about everything, easy when it dominates your every thought.

Im sure part of it was of the anti covid stance. Pretty sure people got a laugh about me from being poisoned, most of them determined I deserved it for one reason or another. Canadians may be some of the biggest cowards I ever met in that way, that can find any excuse to make themselves feel better.
r/conspiracy posted a job profile that specified Reddit years ago. Now they just say social media management, or PR marketing. But, it's too late. We saw it.
Let me tell you the some of the worst of Reddit. r/nurses thought it was appropriate, and encouraged each other to treat unvaccinated people bad. Even encouraged vaccinating against their will, and knowledge. People were going through profiles, reporting them. After those people got fired there was no ethics thread. There was a sticky about being more private with where you work so you didn't get reported. That's condoning bad professionalism in favor of politics.
Then there was news that a patient stabbed ER, and EMT staff. The first few articles said the patient was treated bad, and was scared. That subreddit ignored the fact that they normalized the behavior that caused the patient to be that scared, and made it a woe is me issue for THEM. Those are the same people that still have cut off family members because they're pro vaccine.
I don't want that here.
I haven't seen my woke family in over a year. Don't really care to either. You treated me like shit during all this and then just want me to forget... No thanks. It's strange too, like I look at my family and I'm so disconnected from them, like they were different people before and now it's easy to "dislike" them. Maybe the death of a family member will bring us together but then I have to keep my mouth shut about the death jab... Can't really have an "I told you so" moment at a funeral can I?
Sorry I'm way off topic with this reply aren't I?
I had to say it out loud trying to explain it to another person before I got it. What I said was : a person that treated me like that, or acted in that manner wouldn't be my friend. I wouldn't want anything to do with them. Why would I put up with it because of an accident of birth? Luckily I'm just having an issue with a two I love, but never really had an easy time getting along with.
I'm not even angry. I just feel happier with people that take advantage of my willingness to forgive away from me. They'll never really be sorry. They expect me to, " rug sweep" because I always have. Just remember, no one is promised tomorrow. Make choices you can live with.
