I mean, besides the obvious "stranglehold on the coca extract industry* part. Are they admitting to producing cocaine all this time? That's not all, there's something else that sticks out in this article, or is this an advertising campaign about cocaine? Let me know when you find the sore thumb, and yes, I realize this whole shebang is dubious. The "non-taxed drugs" bit Bill Hicks does comes to mind....
By the way, this came up on my FB

A mainstream story showed up just a few weeks ago and was posted on r/conspiracy saying something like, "Did you know that a little factory in Jersey still processes coca leaves for Coca-Cola, and does it through legal loophole?" I suppose that if I had to guess, it was viral marketing for this investment opportunity.
Technical note: They keep talking about "coca extract" versus "cocaine". I thought cocaine was coca extract.
Not to insult your intelligence, if you already know this, mea culpa, but the coca leaf has TONS of alkaloids in it, only one that I know of that's psychoactive. Pot has tons. Kratom too. Those two work off of the Entourage Effect, meaning lots of alkaloids working together. Coke I think is just that main one extracted. So,.in essence, Coca Cola ends up with at least two coca extracts by the end of it, the goodies, and whatever they put in Coca Cola (if those two are actually any different, they may be one and the same.)
I actually never looked into it for much information because many years ago I stumbled across a video regarding cocaine production. I had always thought coke was some sort of native "artisanal" product. No way.
They showed a processing lab in the jungle, palm frond roofs and everything. That's fine, but the actual process was horrible, at one point involving something like diesel fuel as a solvent. It looked like everyone who worked there was going to get cancer. Just, no thanks, you know? Same goes triple for any drug that was invented in a government lab. Now they're trying to GMO the hell out of weed (or into it, eh?).
Our vices are going to make us crazy or kill us, only maybe not in exactly the way we thought.
