One of the bills (SB 7054) would prevent digital currency issued by the U.S. Federal Reserve or foreign governments from being treated as money under Florida’s Uniform Commercial Code.
I'm not familiar with how expansive "Florida's Uniform Commercial Code" is. We'd also have to read the actual bill to see if there's any loopholes.
Whatever "Not actually.." is proposed; whatever Talmudic twisting of words and definitions you want to apply, the same effects are coming:
...and that's just what .gov can do 'for' us. I'm sure the hackers and scammers can figure out other methods for mischief.
