Simple question. How do you know I'm a real person?
Things like ChatGPT have existed for decades. Automating it is stupidly easy. It's been done for a long time now.
Guess we'll all need a digital ID soon so we can make sure we're talking to a real person, right?
Guess that digital ID will be as easy to fake as any response coming from a paid actor in front of a camera. Right?
How do you know I'm a real person writing this? How do you know if I'm your friend, enemy, or someone who just doesn't give a fuck and wants to get paid enough so they can live in a house, drive a car, and maybe go fishing on the weekend?
How do you know an AI didn't write this. And how do you know you're not just part of an experiment. Because I can guarantee you, that you are. But how do you know.
How do you know?
You discuss with them. “AI” can’t discuss, it can only regurgitate. It can’t read and understand, so ostensible reading comprehension issues and non-sequitur are also red flags.
