Seems to me that if Ray Epps was a hardcore MAGA terrorist that is on video on 1/6 in DC telling everyone to storm the capitol and also a pedophile, that both the leftist news and feds would be tripping over themselves to drag him into the spotlight and connect him with Trump as much as possible.
What it sounds like is Epps got offered a deal by the feds that if he showed up on 1/6 and helped goad the crowed into starting a riot, they would look the other way on a lot of his shit, and the fact that they did everything they could to bury him immediately after 1/6, backs that theory up.
Just like when trump retweeted a random dude going on a racist rant. They chose to stop talking about it when it was the closest thing to a smoking gun for his alleged racism and it only stuck around for a single news cycle.
